Molded Case Circuit Breaker - MCCB

DZ15LE-100 Molded Case Circuit-Breake MCCB

DZ15LE MCCB Molded-Case-Circuit-Breaker 40A-100A

DZ15LE series residual current circuit breakers are neutral-to-earth leakage protection devices. Their tripping function is related to the line voltage. They are mainly suitable for circuits with AC 50Hz, rated voltage 230V/400V and rated current up to 100A, for personal electric shock protection. They can also be used to protect lines and motors against overload and short-circuit, and for infrequent switching of lines and infrequent starting of motors.

This series of products complies with the requirements of GB/T 14048.2 standard.

Working Condition

Normal Operating and Installation Conditions

1. Altitude: The altitude of the installation site shall not exceed 2000m;

2. Ambient air temperature: The upper limit of ambient air temperature shall not exceed +40℃; the lower limit shall not be lower than -5℃; and the 24-hour average temperature shall not exceed +35℃.

Atmospheric conditions: When the ambient air temperature is +40℃, the relative humidity of the atmosphere shall not exceed 50%. Higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures, e.g., 90% at 20℃. Special measures shall be taken for condensation occasionally formed on the product due to temperature changes.

Main Technical Data

1. The mechanical and electrical life of the residual current circuit breaker is 10000 times, including 1500 times of loaded operation and 8500 times of no-load operation.

2. The protection characteristics of the overcurrent release of the residual current circuit breaker comply with the provisions of Table 3 and Table 4. The protection characteristic curves are shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2.

Use and Maintenance

1. The leakage, overload and short-circuit protection characteristics of the circuit breaker are adjusted by the manufacturer at the factory, and shall not be adjusted arbitrarily during use to avoid affecting performance.

2. The function of the test button: after the circuit breaker is newly installed or operated for a certain period of time, press the test button under the condition of closing and energizing. If the circuit breaker can trip, it means the circuit breaker is working normally and can be put into use; if the circuit breaker cannot trip, it means the circuit breaker is faulty and needs to be inspected and repaired.

3. If the circuit breaker trips due to faults (leakage, overload or short-circuit) in the protected circuit, the operating handle will be in the tripped position (middle position). After identifying the cause and eliminating the fault, first pull the operating handle down to the “open” position to make the operating mechanism “re-engage”, then the closing operation can be performed.

4. After the circuit breaker is opened due to short-circuit, the contacts shall be inspected. If the main contacts are severely burnt or pitted, maintenance or replacement shall be carried out.

5. The N terminal of the three-pole four-wire residual current circuit breaker must be connected to the neutral wire to ensure the normal operation of the electronic circuit.

Ordering Information

1. Name and model of the circuit breaker;

2. Rated current of the overcurrent release of the circuit breaker (A);

3. Rated residual operating current of the circuit breaker (mA);

4. Quantity.

Example: Order 80 pieces of DZ15LE-40 residual current circuit breakers, with 40A rated current of overcurrent release, 50mA rated residual operating current, for distribution use, three-pole four-wire. It can be written as: DZ15LE-40/3N901, 40A, 50mA, 80 pieces.
