DZ15D MCCB Molded-Case-Circuit-Breaker 40A-250A
DZ15 series is a small molded case circuit breaker designed for AC 50Hz power distribution systems with rated operational voltage up to 380V (Ui=500V) and rated current 6~100A. It is divided into two versions: DZ15 (standard distribution protection) and DZ15D (motor-specific protection), both complying with GB/T 14048.2 and IEC 60947-2 standards.
DZ15 adopts B/C-type tripping curve for general distribution scenarios, while DZ15D uses D-type tripping curve optimized for motor start-up (higher instantaneous tripping current to avoid false tripping during motor start). Both feature compact size, easy installation and reliable protection, suitable for civil, light industrial distribution and small motor protection scenarios.

7. Installation Instructions
• DZ15/DZ15D supports DIN rail/bolt installation (DIN rail is standard for civil use).
• 2P type only for DZ15 (single-phase civil), DZ15D is 3P only (three-phase motor).
• For DZ15D (motor type), ensure the rated current matches motor rated current (not start current).
• Operating temperature: -5℃ ~ +40℃; avoid high humidity and dust environments.
• After installation, test the tripping function (press test button) to verify protection performance.

Version Selection:
1. Choose DZ15 if used for: Civil distribution (lighting/sockets), light industrial non-motor circuits
2. Choose DZ15D if used for: Three-phase motor protection (≤30kW, e.g., water pump, fan)
Frame Size Selection:
• DZ15/DZ15D-40: ≤40A (small motor/civil distribution)
• DZ15/DZ15D-63: 20~63A (medium motor/secondary distribution)
• DZ15/DZ15D-100: 40~100A (large motor/main distribution)
Key Principle:
• Do not use DZ15 (5~10In) for motor protection (false trip during start-up)
• Do not use DZ15D (10~14In) for distribution (insufficient protection for short-circuit)
